Focus test
Tap only when the circle appears. Ignore the other shapes.
Mindz tests are for entertainment, self-reflection, and learning. They are not medical or psychological diagnoses and they do not replace professional advice.
For about forty seconds, shapes appear one at a time. Tap only for the circle. Squares, triangles, and diamonds are there to pull the tap.
This is a tiny continuous-performance task. It is not a test for any attention disorder.
How to play
Press start, then watch the frame.
Tap or press Space only on circles.
Hits, misses, and false alarms all enter the score.
A high score means you caught targets and withheld on the rest.
What your result suggests
False alarms usually mean the hand moved before the shape finished registering.
Misses usually mean a lapse, not a lack of intelligence.
The other side of the result
Notifications and a moving page will wreck the round. Full screen is unnecessary. A still desk helps.
Practice reduces impulsive taps. That is strategy.
Frequently asked questions
What is this focus test?
A short go/no-go task. Respond to one shape, withhold on the others.
Is this scientifically accurate?
No. Mindz uses a transparent, deterministic scoring method for entertainment and reflection. It is not a validated clinical or psychometric instrument.
Does Mindz store my answers?
Your answers are scored in the browser. Mindz saves the result summary on this device if you finish. It does not need an account, and the answer-by-answer sheet is not uploaded.
Saved on this device only. Retaking adds a new result. It does not erase the earlier one.
