Privacy policy
Who this policy covers
This policy describes mindz.online, the Mindz tests, games, quizzes, tools, articles, and the local dashboard. It was updated in April 2026. Contact hello@mindz.online with privacy questions.
What Mindz stores on your device
If you finish a test or quiz, Mindz saves a result summary in local storage: the label, a score if there is one, a mental age if there is one, trait percentages, and the time. It does not need to keep every selected answer to show the dashboard.
Games save best scores and play counts. The site can also save favorites, recently opened pages, a daily streak, achievements, theme and motion settings, habit checkmarks, mood entries, and reflection notes. These stay in your browser under a Mindz storage key.
You can delete them from Dashboard, then Settings, then Clear my data. You can also remove site data in your browser settings. Uninstalling nothing is required, because there is no installed account.
What you do not have to give us
Mindz does not ask for an account, a legal name, or a phone number to use the tests. Do not put sensitive information into reflection notes or habit names on a shared computer. Those fields are convenient, not a secure medical record.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted by an infrastructure provider. Providers commonly process IP addresses, user agent strings, timestamps, and requested URLs in server logs for security, debugging, and abuse prevention. Those logs are not the same thing as your test answers. Retention follows the host’s ordinary practice.
Cookies
Mindz itself uses local storage more than cookies for your results and settings. The hosting platform or a content delivery network may set cookies that are strictly necessary to serve the site and to keep it secure.
If analytics or advertising are enabled later, additional cookies can appear. They are not required to take a test.
Advertising and analytics
Mindz may show advertising in positions that do not sit on game controls or between every test question. If Google AdSense or another ad network is used, that company can collect or receive data such as cookie identifiers, IP address, and coarse location or device information, and may use it to measure or personalize ads according to its own policy and your settings.
If a product such as Google Analytics is added, it can collect usage events, pages, and technical data. Mindz will not describe the site as collecting nothing if those tools are present. Check this page for the current list. As of this writing, test answers are not sent to an analytics product in order to build your dashboard.
Google’s policies for publishers require sites to disclose Google’s data collection where Google products are used. When those products are active, review Google’s privacy materials as well as this page.
Email you send us
If you write to hello@mindz.online, we receive the address you wrote from, the content, and ordinary mail metadata. We use it to answer you. Do not send clinical records. You may ask us to delete a prior email conversation, and we will remove it from active mailboxes where we can still find it.
Children
Mindz is not directed at children under 13, and not aimed at younger teens as an advertising audience. Do not send us a child’s personal information.
International visitors
You may visit from anywhere. Your results remain on your device. Hosting and email may be processed in countries other than your own, under the providers’ safeguards. If you email a privacy request, say which right you are exercising and which email address you used.
Your choices
You can refuse optional cookies in your browser, use a private window, skip the chronological age field, and clear local Mindz data at any time. You can email hello@mindz.online about a privacy request. We will not sell your test answers, because we do not receive them as a customer database.
