Test

Memory test

A short recall of words, then a flashed grid.

Mindz tests are for entertainment, self-reflection, and learning. They are not medical or psychological diagnoses and they do not replace professional advice.

This is a brief working-memory style task, not a medical memory exam. You see a set of words, then pick them out of a larger list. After that, a grid flashes and you rebuild it.

Distraction, language, and fatigue change the score more than “how good your memory is” as a permanent trait.

How to play

Read the words once. You cannot go back.

Select only the ones you saw. Extra selections count against you.

Then watch the grid and recreate the lit cells.

The two parts combine into one percentage.

What your result suggests

A high score means you held a small set long enough to recognize it. It does not mean you will remember names, studying, or conversations the same way.

A low score often means the pace or the second task overwrote the first. That is normal in a dual task.

The other side of the result

Noise, an extra browser tab, and doing this on a small screen all matter.

Practice improves the strategy. That is task learning, not a change in IQ.

Frequently asked questions

What does this memory test measure?

Short-term recognition of a word set and a spatial pattern, under a time limit you do not control.

Is this scientifically accurate?

No. Mindz uses a transparent, deterministic scoring method for entertainment and reflection. It is not a validated clinical or psychometric instrument.

Does Mindz store my answers?

Your answers are scored in the browser. Mindz saves the result summary on this device if you finish. It does not need an account, and the answer-by-answer sheet is not uploaded.

Saved on this device only. Retaking adds a new result. It does not erase the earlier one.
