Mood tracker
One word for the day, optional note, local chart.
How is the day sitting with you?
Pick the word that fits the day, not the hour. Add a note if you want context later.
This is a private log, not a screening tool. If your mood is worrying you, talk to a person who can help, not to a chart.
One word for the day
The mood tracker asks how the day is sitting with you, on a five-word scale from heavy to bright, with an optional note. Pick the word that fits the day, not the hour. Hours swing. A day-level word is crude and that crudeness is useful. It stops the log from becoming a minute-by-minute self-surveillance project. The entries stay on this device. Nobody at Mindz receives them. They are not end-to-end encrypted in some special ceremonial way. They sit in browser storage. Shared computers are a bad place for them. Clear local data before you hand a device on.
This is a private log, not a screening tool. It does not diagnose depression, anxiety, or any other condition. It does not produce a risk score. If your mood is worrying you, if the heaviness is persistent, or if you are in crisis, talk to a person who can help and use local emergency resources if you need them now. Do not ask a chart to be that person. Do not write clinical detail into the note that you would not want in an ordinary browser profile. The privacy page says the same thing, because it is easy to forget when a box looks friendly.
How to write the note, if you write one
A note is for context future-you might misunderstand. Slept four hours. Long meeting. Good walk. It is not a journal competition. A few words beat a performance. If you do not want a note, save the word alone. Completeness is not honesty. You can skip days. Gaps are not failures. The log is a sample, not a contract. Looking back across a couple of weeks, you may notice that certain days share a word and a circumstance. Treat that as a question, not a cause. Sleep, company, work, and light all move mood, and so do things a website cannot see. Do not let five buttons invent a theory that locks you in.
The emotional style quiz is a different activity. It names a habit of notice, soothing, directness, or distance. It is not a mood. You can be direct and have a heavy day. You can be soothing and have a bright one. If you take both, do not staple them into a type. The reflection tool asks one small question about attention. Use that if the mood word felt too blunt and you want a sentence with a job. Use this page if a word is enough. Mindz would rather you pick one tool than fill every box every night out of loyalty to a streak.
Why this sits on a mental-age site
Mental age answers move with mood, and the test page says so. A heavy week can change how you report spontaneity, patience, and social energy. That is a reason to keep a very light mood log if you are the sort of person who retakes the test and panics at a new age. The log can remind you that the week was unusual before you tattoo the number. It can also remind you that the week was ordinary and the answers still moved, which means the scale is sensitive to framing. Either reminder supports the site's main claim: the age is a snapshot of style, worth reading, not worth worshipping.
Do not delay a mental age retake until you have a month of bright days. That is a way to rig the mirror. Take the test when you take it, and let the mood word sit beside it in your own memory. The dashboard history will show results over time. It will not automatically fuse them with mood, because that fusion would look more scientific than it is. You can do the comparison yourself, loosely, like a person, not like a study.
A small practice
Choose a time of day you actually remember, often evening, and keep it for a week. Then look at the row once. If every day is the same word, the scale may be too blunt for you, or the week may have been genuinely flat. Both are allowed. If the words swing wildly, the day-level rule may not fit, and you can stop. Stopping is better than refining the instrument until it becomes your evening personality.
Suggested next pages stay in the house style. The mental age test is first. The breathing timer is a pause, not a cure, if you want one. The articles on concentration and curiosity are reading, if reading helps. Games are optional and should not be used to outrun a heavy day. Nothing you save here is required for the rest of Mindz to work. Delete it whenever you like. The site will not email you about a missing day, because it does not have your email unless you wrote to hello@mindz.online yourself.
